XM radio seemed to have locked into a "loading" loop of some sort and could not use the radio. Multiple calls all wanted to send the refresh signal.
Finally got to someone who knew what they were doing. I was instructed to
1. Turn radio off
2. Turn ignition off
3. Open door for at least 30 seconds
4. Turn ignition on after the 30 seconds with door still open
5. Turn radio on.
Wait for refresh ( about 3 minutes )
Hold scan button for 10 seconds.
Manual tune all channels stopping at channel 1
Success!
