Help: How do you perform a clone of a Blink SD card properly ???

Hi,

I realize I am doing something wrong with my steps in attempt to clone a working Blink SD card.

Short story version: I have 2 Blink charger units. One stopped working, blank screen after the EVproject screen. I take the SD card from the working unit and swapped out from the failed unit. Voila! It boots up.

Next, I read forum threads and found out that you can use "DriveImage XML tool" http://www.runtime.org/driveimage-xml.htm to clone the SD cards. So, I tried to use this Windows-based tool and did a "copy to image and restore", also tried a "drive-to-drive" copy BUT, nothing worked. (???????)

I think I am doing something wrong with the cloning process. Can someone pls help?

NOTE: I don't have access to a Linux machine but I may ask someone tomorrow.

Thanks!

Are you still trying to use the failed SD Card? Or did you purchase a new one for a couple bucks? And yes the easiest is Linux with dd.
