https://www.chevrolet.com/electric/bolt ... price/trim has now been updated for the 2020 Bolt.

I knew it was happening, but I'm still sad to see the "Shock" color go away. At least Orange is still available, although judging solely from pictures I preferred the original "Orange Burst" to the new, toned-down "Cayenne Orange".

I sat in a Bolt one more time at 2019 LA Auto show and thought that the seats felt fine this time, I actually thought they were good and overall the seating position was better than in the Leaf for my 6-4 height. The new Leaf feels pretty much as the 2011, same limited leg room, I wasn't impressed.

As I posted in another thread:
2020 Bolts have hit dealer lots. One guy who works at a local dealer posted a pic of one w/one of the new colors. He said 40 arrived yesterday.

'19 Bolt Premier
'13 Leaf SV w/premium (owned)
'13 Leaf SV w/QC + LED & premium (lease over)

Please don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.

Holy cow! If this is a legit deal and not some bait & switch or including some local rebate, this is a really good deal.

On a Bolt group (at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1521572 ... 8285311783, private), a Baltimore dealer has a '19 Bolt Premier (this is the higher of the two trim levels so that includes Surround Vision) in shock color supposedly for $23,687. Link still works at https://www.baltimorechevyourisman.com/ ... 3311171183.

Window sticker link can't be archived but it says this car has
"Destination Charge $875.00
Installed Options

DC fast charging $750.00
Shock $395.00
Infotainment Package $485.00
LPO, Tire inflator $105.00
LPO, Wheel locks $75.00
Driver Confidence II Package $495.00

Total Options $2,305.00
MSRP* $44,085.00"

That's AWESOME although I don't like the color. Infotainment package adds Bose stereo and the near useless wireless charging pocket.

My Bolt has all that except shock color (extra charge), tire inflator and wheel locks. And, assuming they didn't deduct $1875 Federal tax credit already to arrive at that price, that makes it even better. If it's legit, the thread starter will probably snag it if someone doesn't beat him to it.

On FB Bolt page, looks like someone went down to pick up one of those super cheap Bolts and its not quite that cheap. He didn't specify but mentioned that deal likely to come in "over $29k" he passed on it.

I remember seeing a lot of ads like that in which the tax credit was counted.

tax credit is $1875. The difference in price was several thousand more than that. Now "if" the writer of the ad was under the impression the credit was still $7500, then it would be close but still short. He was talking like $9k...

I'm sure that the "mistake" was completely "accidental."

A Chevrolet Bolt EV Set a Cannonball Run Record and No One Noticed | Torque News
https://www.torquenews.com/8861/chevrol ... ne-noticed
A driver (thelondonbroiler on YouTube) set a record by driving his 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV across the United States alone from New York City, New York to Los Angeles, California in 78 hours and 59 while only using publicly available fast chargers. The traditional cannonball run route is 2,825 miles (I described it in detail on a story describing how the Porsche Taycan could shatter the current EV cannonball record); however, this Chevy Bolt EV driver chose to take a slightly longer route through New Mexico and Arizona, which totaled 2,912 miles.
On his longer video, the good part is that he usually jumps over to Torque Pro on his phone so you can see his battery temps. He also sometimes references them. At some points, it was too cold for him to achieve good charging speeds.

OT: In a private Bolt group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1521572 ... 372132041/, one guy posted pics of the new HD Surround Vision System. It finally offers left and right side curb views besides presumably much better picture quality. The guy made a reference to "we first got this view on Blazer".

It does look similar to what I see at https://youtu.be/1v0a_UXfUdg?t=528 at the 8:48 mark.

Yeah one of the biggest knocks on the Bolt (after the lack of tech)

How does this happen on a trip that consists of 10+ DC's a day???
