This thread is to post news related to new fast charger installations which are neither Electrify America or EVGo.

Mid American is moving along nicely with the new Iowa GreenLots buildout. Several are already online in Plugshare. It looks like the I 80 locations will come online last.

For the BCers. There are at least four BC hydro stations with all equipment in place just awaiting final testing between Cache creek and Prince George. 15th Jan is the date given for two of them. All are CCS/Chademo with every second one on the route having two of each.

At least they avoided the posed picture of the local politician standing there holding the EVSE handle like it's a gas pump.

...
On Tuesday, October 22, the San José City Council voted to allow San José Clean Energy (SJCE) to participate in the California Energy Commission’s California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project and contribute $4 million in matching funds to the Energy Commission’s proposed $10 million allocation for San José. The project will fund the installation of new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in public, workplace, and multi-family housing locations over the next two to four years.

The investment will essentially double the current level of public charging stations by adding approximately 100 Direct Current Fast Charging (CDFC) stations and 1,400 Level 2 charging stations.

I was looking through Plugshare and I am quite impressed of the build out through Petro Canada and Canadian Tire/Electrify Canadá.

Equally surprising how little infra there is in North Dakota and Montana.

Regarding North Dakota and Montana. and for that matter South Dakota and Wyoming there is this guy trying to build them at www.evtrail.com basically he is looking for minimum 20 dollar investments from regular people. I did this.

Another half dozen BC hydro coming soon just showed up in BC in the last week. As well, four locations were changed from coming soon to operational in the corridor from cache creek to Prince George.

Just scanning through a lot of the check ins. Chademo is king. They are going to either add some Tesla cables or add Chademo. Tesla’s are the dominant users.
