    I Beat EPA's 2.9 Miles/KWh : Report Your Monthly Mileage

Time to get offline LEAFfan. Nit-picking about others' spelling, grammar or bad typing isn't going to earn you any friends. The pressure is on. I sure hope you don't type anything wrong anytime soon.

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

It's not rocket science ... as I had the same thoughts myself. I really wanted this car - and also really wanted a new car (ie - get rid of what I was driving.) I reserved nearly 15 months ago now, and reasonably expected a car in January or February. Just got it at the end of June ... and...

Younkers had the first orphan ... way back in January. I think they are just making conversation.

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

Oh, I totally get it - and it makes sense. It's just that I had to shake hands with the Mayor while he was telling me that the Charging stations at Qwest Field were free - for a year. Lucky us - then we pay to park, and pay to charge! I don't like our Mayor much, which may color my...

Exactly right. I walked over and asked the parking folks (office, not just the booth folks): Pay to Park, charge for free. I'm fine with that ... but that really doesn't seem in the spirit of "public" chargers. Strangely - I'd have less of an issue with 'Pay to Charge'. Seems more straight...

    Range Chart

ECO claims to do a more aggressive job reclaiming power from the breaks, etc. Seems to be true, just try coasting down hill both ways. The rest (acceleration) is smoke and mirrors - this one thing seems real.

Nope ... this are just the same L2 chargers we have in our garages - in fancy outdoor cases. They did not plug into the L3 port on the Leafs. They do seem to be the first truly public (not in a private garage) ones in Seattle though. I think that's what the fuss was about.

There may be a better area for this question ... but I can't really find it. There was a big hoopla today in the Qwest Field/Sound Transit train station parking lot. Four Blink charging stations (perhaps the first actual public ones?) were dedicated. It's across the street from where I work -...

    Seattle Leaf Dealers review

I'd like to put in another plug for Stadium Nissan in Seattle. I'm very pleased with them, and still don't even have the darned car. They are into the Leaf, and will freely claim that it's the whole reason this new dealership came to Seattle. It's true, they are Leaf geeks. True about the...

New Firmware: L2R.1.6A, reset breaker if Leaf not charging

Perhaps this explains some of my "mystery" resets. These aren't automatic ... but occur instead when I'm fiddling with the wireless connection settings (boom! reboot ...). Now if I only had a car to charge.

... and block the mailbox, which is still illegal. Please don't give EVs a bad name by twisting the intent here.

Ah Ha! So if this is really private property - a no parking/tow away sign is in order. I'm sure a towing company will let you know the details.

New Leaf Owners - Paint quality good or ehhhh?

From the Seattle Leaf Facebook group: Did you understand the explanation regarding why these were held in Long Beach? I didn't really get it. Sounded a lot like "it needed to be washed". :-) Oh well, this seems real finally. Friday at 9:23pm There has been some story floating around about...

New Leaf Owners - Paint quality good or ehhhh?

I don't know if you already seen other posts ... but us folks in Seattle have had large batches of cars on "hold" in Long Beach. The official line from Nissan (worthy of a direct phone call no less) was "pollen". They were pollen damaged in Long Beach, and were no being held so Nissan could...

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

If anyone's curious - the call was really to explain the delay (not sure I really understood - or cared) - and let me know it will be put on a train north the first opportunity starting 5/16 (Monday). I'm guessing that all translates to "week of May 27th" in Nissan speak. At least it seems...

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

I haven't been on here in awhile ... and did look back a few pages without finding an answer. - My delivery date still says "week of May 6th". - Yesterday: + did the live chat thing, they told me it was in Long Beach, getting the various accessories installed (?!) (Mud flaps are the...

Holy ... Batman! I have a date, and a VIN I thought I was doomed. Apparently I was on the last boat out of Japan.
