My dealer did the same thing. Mine came in this Tuesday and I told him that I wanted to hold off on picking up until July 1 and he refused. He said that if I did that, they would sell the car to someone else. He pretty much gave me the weekend to pick up or I would lose it.

I'm in the same boat. The price of the car should continue to go down over time and the quality of the battery will improve over time so the incentive to be one of the early adopter of an electric car has been significantly reduced for me with not getting the full $5,000 rebate. If you can...

Thank you. CVRP website says that it is to be proposed in June 20 and approved in July so I don't know what the chances that they will reject this proposal and keep it at $5,000. I can only hope.

Can I ask where you got the information about the $5,000 CVRP rebate being reduced to $2,500 once it runs out and it has to be replenished? Is this a fact or is this what you think? I have a delivery estimate of June 23 and would like to delay pick up until July to take advantage of the tax...
