Ha Ha. Of course in the UK DAB is probably more preferable though I don't think the new leafs have that yet? I'm happy with spotify and other mobile streaming apps + bluetooth - great quality & I have unlimited 3G+ data But FM as a backup would be good to get fixed

The FM radio in my 2012 MY UK Nissan leaf seems very insensitive. In particular it mostly struggles to pick up much other than the 4 main BBC stations. Local independent radio has very weak/dodgy signal and interference. It's been like it for a while - tbh I mostly use spotify or other...

Just as an aside, the OBD-II port is in a slightly annoying place for constant use. I've not yet tried a slim right angle cable yet (I was trying to use an old OBD scanner even just for the regular can, which supports some CAN buses but couldn't figure out the leaf protocol)

Most I've seen on the readout is 102 - probably stops around 101 on the flat. When compared with GPS tracking this appeared to be a genuine 93mph tbh my speedo more often is in the 55-65 range....

What's the 4th CAN bus mentioned? I know of EV/CAR/AV ?

Thanks - helpful. I think it's definately a case of capturing more "proof" together for the dealer and see if I can persuade them to take it up with nissan tech support.... I know the guys there seem very passionate about the leaf and helpful so hopefully just a little persuasion might at least...

So when I had the recalls done I did ask in general terms about the SD update and was just told my car already had the required fixes. He showed me a list of fixes for the 2011 and said based on my vin I already had them... Certainly I have had no real problems with carwings communications...

I think the dash is more realistic, carwings seems too low -- though I wish the dash had 2 digits after the decimal point (and indeed the carwings web ui too -- though at least you can calculate from the CSV) I have a MY2012 (UK) car and have already been to the dealer to get P1270 P1272...
