Grabby Brakes, took out 12V and charged it and put back. Problem persisted.

Brought into dealer and dealer said master brake cylinder is out? Gave a part number 460073NA2A as the actuator. I will pickup the car and bring to another dealer for a second opinion.

Not sure about spending $1300 on this car (part cost alone) due to the age? I got it for 13k and have had it 3 years and have 43k miles on it. Nice experiment anyway.

I am pretty sure that nissan is done with any type of help as well.

Has anyone had this done? I seem to recall some discussion of this here.

Thank you

There is a TSB out for grabby brakes. While I guess a failing master cylinder might cause them, I'd think it more likely to cause soft pedal...get a second opinion, from a Leaf expert.

You don't happen to have the TSB number do you?

No, sorry, I don't. A Nissan dealer should have it, though! And try Cwerdna's search string. Just copy it and paste it into a Google search window.

EDIT: I did that, and here is one topic: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=18088
