I know I keep saying this, but so far we don't know when the 4th bar drops wrt SOH on 30kWh Leafs.

and hopefully it will be a long time before we do!
on another note; Lizard cars do seem to have better batteries. Steve Marsh on his 2014 (the "prelizard?") says he thinks he will hit 100,000 miles on it with all 12 bars intact so a significant improvement from his 2011 on the same tortuous commute.
One anecdote does not a trend make.DaveinOlyWA said:on another note; Lizard cars do seem to have better batteries. Call me cynical, but I think the absolute best way to insure that an owner will have a usable 24 kWh for the better part of 10 years/100k miles is to buy a 30 kWh battery model.
That is awesome!DaveinOlyWA said:ok, how about 2? .

I'd love to see a LeafSpy report on your car. The page with cell voltages and Ahr is a nice summary
Dave, see if you can get Steve to post an update on his experience with the 2014. ThanksDaveinOlyWA said:....another note; Lizard cars do seem to have better batteries. We seem to be pretty close...
Please let us know if your GID numbers start to drop. I'm most interested in how your battery does over the summer. That should help determine whether it's a general ageing problem or a bad batch of batteries. I hope it's just a bad batch of batteries and not a general problem. By the way, how many miles is your daily commute?DaveinOlyWA said:Well mine was less than a month from factory to garage so it sat nowhere for any period of time and the numbers bear out.
In service date; 11/11/16 miles 5152, 32 fast charges, 61 regular. ahr; 82.34, GIDs 363, kwh available (GIDs=77.5 wh) 28.1, SOH 100%, Hx 99-103%
