Add Interior Lights...Where to tap to?

So I notice when the interior dome light switch is set to Door, the lights dim a bit after door opening. This leads me to believe that there is a wire I can tap, in order to add lighting that recreates this effect without having to tap at the ceiling. I'd like to add lights to the foot wells to increase light available.

Does anyone have access to Wiring diagram, or perhaps already found this wire on their own? As close as possible to the foot wells would be awesome.
