Here in Northern California, I have only seen Chademo EVSE units on a stand-alone basis - never paired with even a regular Level 2 J1772, much less a CCS.
There are PLENTY of DC FCs where the dispenser or unit has both CCS1 and CHAdeMO in Nor Cal.

But yes, I've never seen a dispenser or DC FC with CHAdeMO or CCS and J1772 (for level 2 AC charging) all on the same unit in the US.

It's part of Electrify America's sabotage of CHAdeMO that I've harped about before.

Multiple standards are unlikely to survive in one market. Looks like J3400 in the future for North America, ChaoJi for Japan and China, CCS2 for the rest of the world.
Chademo was doomed once the rest of the world made their own standards, and started to make cars to those standards. Even in Japan Chademo as we know it is doomed.

Electrify America was just facing the facts.

I don't care what standard they use, as long as they all use the same ;)

CCS is the most common connector here and it has some good time until J3400 takes over in the USA and Canada, if it ever does. I think most of us agree that Nissan should've ditched chademo long ago for the USA and Canadian markets at least, but we're here so I think the aforementioned adapter is very relevant to all LEAF owners, present and future, who need and use QCs.

Heck, Nissan ditched the LEAF altogether instead ;)
