Keep in mind that in New York, all taxes are required up front on a lease. I highly recommend avoiding "rolling in" the tax into your monthly payment. When you do that in NY, you are basically having the dealership loan you extra money to cover the sales tax (since the DMV requires it all up front). Since you're rolling the tax into your monthly payment, that increases your monthly payment, which then winds up increasing how much sales tax you owe.

But with a near 0% interest rate equivalent on money factor, why not borrow the money?

My SV I got for $0 down, $239/month for 24 months. SL is nicer, but not $100/month nicer, IMO.

I think OP can do better.

When I checked how much one of my local dealers wanted for a 2 year lease, this is what he came back with:
$999 down, 1st month payment down + DMV fees
SV: $277/month
SL: $353/month


$0 down, $239/month is really impressive!
