I saw my first LEAF in the wild today near Davis, CA. Silver with Michigan plates. It was flying on Hwy 80. I couldn't keep up with it!! Got my mouth watering...

Hmmm ... is that one of the demo cars ? I thought demo cars had a TN plate ...

Probably related to the Nissan Engineering Center attached to the California Fuel Cell Partnership in West Sacramento. Those cars (the fuel cell ones) all have MI plates (Toyota, VW, Nissan, Daimler, GM, etc).

I managed to get next to him for a moment and tried to get his attention with a honk and thumbs up, like a complete tool, fanboy. The driver didn't notice me at all. He was totally chill, heading east. Put on the jets and I was left behind!

Yeah, that sounds right, and within range.

I wonder if Gudy's car was modified before they delivered it or if he will have to got back for a recall on the wiring issue?
Whoa, back up there. What wiring issue? :?

Rumor that Nissan is "fixing" the/a/some wire bundle (to/near the heater) because the wires might possibly rub against something and abrade.

Not verified, but basically that was the "wiring issue" Rumor.

I heard that all the fratistats and condubilators had to be replaced.

Complete BS. Their canooter-valves were all gunked up with 30 weight motor oil. Everyone knows they're all using ball bearings nowadays!!

Are u sure its a leaf? Mi plates makes me think it a volt

Yes, I could definitely tell it was a LEAF by the unique size of the fratistats and distinctive shape of the condubilators. No question about it.

Confuse a LEAF with a Volt? Please! Surely you must be joking!

Just interviewed by a reporter from the Daily Pilot http://www.dailypilot.com/....he said maybe delivery for the three Connell cars in 24-48 hours.
Where is our Mossy GM when you need him ? ;)

He's probably drying off your car, and getting it inside, out of the rain. Patience, my man!
Ofcourse he won't be getting hold of my car (which won't be here till Feb). What we need now is info ...
