for us new buyers who did not qualify free ev station. i received this email from blink, so may be worth getting a blink card and applying if you haven't. application is free and first year fee is waived.

"Thank you for your interest in The EV Project®. The response has been overwhelming and we have successfully met the project’s goal for residential charging units nationwide. Unfortunately, the number of chargers in this program was limited and all the chargers were allocated before we could accommodate all the people on the waiting list.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in The EV Project and we would like to have you as a Blink® customer. That is why we're giving you $100 credit towards charging time on the Blink Network to plug-in at over 3,000 Blink chargers nationwide. To redeem your credits, simply sign up for a free Blink membership and fill out this request form by April 30, 2013. The credits are valid through September 30, 2013. That’s it. No strings attached. It’s our way of saying “thanks” for your interest.

We also wanted you to know that we're working on a new entry-level Blink Level 2 home charger. It will be easy to install, look great in any garage, and be competitively priced. This email is your invitation to pre-order the new home charger; just click here to add your name to our exclusive list.

Ya maybe. Then again since they charge for "plug time" and not charge time, 6 months might be way more than enough time to burn off that 100 hours

Think of it this way: if you have a 2013 Leaf w/6.6kw/hr. charger, which adds approx. 23 miles of range per hour while charging, and based on the Blink Plus membership rate of $1 an hour, that $100 credit could buy you 2,300 miles of driving. If gas is at, say, $4 a gallon, and your ICE vehicle gets 20 miles per gallon, that's maybe $460 worth of gas. Not bad! (if the math is right....)

Is this offer somehow only for those who have applied but don't qualify for free charging stations?

For all of us who "scold" newbies here on MNL for their misuse of the word "charger" as well as those of us for whom Blink is a four letter word...
