Hi Folks,
I'm on the list - and in Bristol UK. I'm surprised just how many automotive journalists/EV journalists have ordered a LEAF. Off the top of my head I think there's at least six either unconfirmed reservations or actually going ahead and ordering.
As it turns out, my local Bristol Nissan Dealer isn't stocking the LEAF, so I have to drive 40+ miles down the freeway to Cardiff and pick mine up there. I know I'm the first person who has chosen Cardiff to get one and the numbers of folks who have reserved so far there aren't that impressive.
ETA of March (at the moment). I've ordered a Red model with Solar panel. (Only spec here).
And of course, I'll be racing Mikeboxwell. He and I know each other quite well (even if he teases me for breaking past EVs I've owned)
For the record, I'm lead writer at Allcarselectric.com, host of TransportEvolved.com and have already owned five plug in vehicles!
