Yes I am agreeing that the current battery in the Leaf is not a lot better if any, for hot climates, but for more moderate climates it is quiet a lot better.
It looks like the 60 Kwh battery for Gen II will also have no thermal management.
So, it looks like most current leaf owners in hot climates will change to the Bolt, but sadly and quite astonishingly makes do with only 50 Kw DC capability but has full thermal management. Leaf II will have 100 Kw capability.
