Ok I am a newb here. I have used FC about 8 times. All have been on mild days. I charge up to 100% on a day i know a long road trip is involved otherwise I have the timer set on my 2012 model.

I have run it until 3-4 miles left a couple times and till the display went -- for mileage but no turtle mode.

If I am not planning on doing driving I do not plug it in sine work is only 1 mile away.

I dont think I should plug it in every day if I dont need to right?

How do I know how many bars I have "lost"?

Count 'em. :)

This LEAF has lost one bar and now has 11 instead of 12:

Always be fully charged then check your display like the entry before this shows.

But the best way is with a GID meter or spypro leaf app. It will tell you before you lose a BAR.

Ahh the glory days - that's my car :D . What I wouldn't give to just be down one bar again. It seems so long ago (really about 2 years). Now I am down 3 bars  , but should lose that 4th bar sometime soon - down to 43.77 AHr/66% SOH. Its time!

ok Duh! Looks obvious. I have not lost any yet. Thanks!
