Doing a DC Quick charge at about 14 kW (240v x 60A) would charge the EV "more gently", perhaps even charging to 95% in under 2 hours.
Such a DC FC (Fast Charge) could be powered at home, and not cost "too much".
With the charging taking only 2 hours, it might not even be considered a "continuous load", so one might be able to use a 60-amp breaker and circuit (I am not sure).
Since the 14 kW is a LOT less than the 50 kW of the "DC QC", this would typically cost a lot less.
Perhaps this is a good idea for a home Fast-Charge device?
