I'll even step it up a notch for any member of this forum. I'll even step it up a notch for any member of this forum. I'll Discount any LEAF ordered through the Kearny Mesa Location or Poway $500 off of the MSRP (however you configure it).

Awesome, that takes care of SoCal or at least san diego area

Any dealer willing to do the same for us up north? bueller? bueller? ;)

Hello!
I have contacted Nissan Alhambra and Power Nissan El Monte regarding pricing of the LEAF. I haven't had any pricing luck! They tell they don't know.
ANYONE have any information for the LEAF price in LA or Los Angeles County?????
THANK YOU!
John, San Gabriel, CA

Sounds like the Vegas trip. I'll be back Wednesday night from that. What questions do you need answered?
When can I test drive it?
When can I order?
When can I take delivery?
What is the "out-the-door" price? (i.e., does MSRP actually mean MSRP plus all kinds of prep and extra feature charges, etc.?)
Does changing color or changing from SV to SL delay delivery date?
Do the dealers know anything about the AV quote or installation, like when will I get it (>4 weeks since home assessment already) or what to do if I think it's too high?
Are there any charging stations planned for this area?
Can I charge at the dealer lot at Level 2 or Level 3 if necessary? For free? If not, for a fee?
I may think of a few more.

YEAH! Thanks for the heads up! I will contact them!

Are you close to Fontana? If not, they say they'll deliver to your door! I wonder if there's an additional delivery charge for that service.

I just read that Fontana Nissan are offering Leaf's at $1000 off of MSRP! Let the games begin!

BTW, Fontana is about 50 east of downtown LA and about 120 miles north of downtown San Diego.

Just for the record.

Thank you for the "heads up" I will compare their offer (Fontana Nissan) for the LEAF versus other local Nissan dealers! I actually use my credit union to finance my car because I find that my credit union offers me a better interest rate!

I am in Los Angeles County- about 48 miles away from Nissan Fontana. I mapquested it. If I decide on buying my LEAF from them I can drive there in my current car and then drive the LEAF.

Hmmm .... and not listed in BBB.

Yes, they are...they have a 'B' rating (http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Fontana-Nissan-100003284), BUT did you read the reviews from an earlier url that someone posted (above)? I wonder what they will say about those terrible reviews...one was in May!

Fontana Nissan have a "B" rating from BBB. But you are only using them to enter an order and deliver the car. I assume they can get that right. A $1000 can pay for a lot electric "fuel"!

Thats right - I guess BBB search isn't great.

What can go wrong ?
- Refusing to honor the price (after all the website says "order today and receive $1000 off")
- Tagging along extra dealer installed options
- What if you want to trade in your current car ?

I printed out their $1000 off LEAF web page! I also saved it on my computer! So, if they try to pull a fast one on me- I will have their website page in my hand!

Personally I would rather have my wisdom teeth pulled, or get a urinary tract infection, or even be punched in the face than to go to an automobile dealership and buy a car. The idea of calling up Fontana Nissan, mailing them a check, and having the car delivered to my door is really appealing to me.
