Tony,
I find the rules about beginning and ending altitudes onerous. Isn't the goal making this a fun thing for new and older Leaf owners.

For example if we are going to have altitude rules they should be for everyone ... flat routes would penalized as they have an advantage others may not have. Lets make it simple based only on getting to the mileage goals on one charge. How one does it doesn't matter. How one does it could be damn interesting and fun for all of us.

Lets reward creativity and we will all have fun and learn something in the process.

If you don't require ending at the same altitude as starting, you'll have people start at 10,000ft and end at sea level and get 300 miles on one charge...however there's nothing stopping you from having your own thread where the sky's the limit on trickery. Call it "Turning over a new LEAF". :p
