I was thinking the same thing!

That video was hard to watch, but that said, I'm thrilled with the high rating. It will be great to be able to tell people how safe the Leaf is for its occupants, as well as the environment. :)

What?
I checked for myself, and about half of the the "moderately priced midsize cars" got less that the highest rating( that's the category the Leaf and Volt are in). Included in the less than the highest were Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Maxima, and Mitsubishi Galant.
 
Now the test we can trust.

I'm not sure I understand why the insurance industry's test shouldn't also be trusted.
What incentive (could there possibly be to) inspire them to return false or exaggerated (pardon the pun) claims?
