Passenger seatbelt/ALR issues

The passenger seatbelt system seems to have it out for my wife, as the restraint system which allows you to lock a baby seat in place, keeps trying to choke her. I've witnessed this firsthand, and I can't explain why it keeps triggering, as she isn't pulling the belt out all the way. I had a Nissan tech look at it, they couldn't find anything wrong.

Has anyone else run into this issue, and figured out a way of dealing with this?

Just the ALR engaging from pulling the belt all the way out. Simple fix is a Nissan seatbelt extender, about $30 at a dealer and gives you another 6-8". Issue resolved.
