Is the quick charge station (various locations) the # 1 type?
About 30 mins. +-
That's the car port passenger side (larger one).

thanks...

The fast charge port is called " DC Fast Charge" or "DC Quick Charge"...It is on the passenger side of the front of the car.

Level 1 is 120 volt charging (3-5 miles per hour) and is on the driver side of the charge port....You can also use that port for Level 2 charging as well, which is 208-240 volts. The J1772 plug is used for both of those...

That sounds like the 30 min. charge is not level 1 or 2 (on ev maps).
That leaves level 3 to be the 30 min. charge !??
I see no level 3 chargers my providence RI and sounding area's

Looks like I found my own answer?
carstations.com shows just nine fast port charging stations in USA
So, if one is traveling & nearly empty plan on 3-4 hour charge up.

Yes. Level 3 is DCQC and can charge from around 20% to near 80% status of charge in around 30 minutes.
There may not be any in your area yet.
Check http://www.plugshare.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
DCQC costs about $50,000 to install and $1,000 to $2,000 per year to maintain.
Nissan is paying for their installation at some dealers.
Most that aren't at dealers have been done under government programs.
Very few independently installed.

Yeah, http://www.plugshare.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is what you want. Its what most people use. There are no CHAdeMO stations in RI yet. There are 13 in MA and like 8 in CT, but there are more planned.

Thanks guys, plugshare.com is great.
Yes, it is pretty good and best overall crowd sourced comprehensive set of information on EV charging stations.
The main shortcoming it has is that it gives no means to change the symbol that is displayed when a station is not working.
Only place to find that is in the comments.
They really should fix that shortcoming.
