I've only had my 13 Leaf SL for about 6 weeks now and have a question about which is a more economical way to charge. I've purchased a L2 charge cable due to the turnaround time didn't allow using the L1 on the days my wife commutes to work and back. The other four days of the week when I need to charge I use the L1 cable. My question is which is the least costly way to charge? Does it make a difference, cost wise, using L1 or L2?
Thanks in advance,
Randy

You should find many threads around here asking and talking about the same thing but long story short, L2 and the higher the amperage the better for efficiency. Apparently the charger in a Leaf has ~300w of inherent loss whenever it's running. shorten the time it's running and you get more efficient charging.
