There is a new Windows Phone application to help you find charging stations. With Charge Finder you can search for charging stations by address or keyword, and it uses your current location to find nearby charging stations. The results are displayed on a map or a list view if you prefer.

Charge Finder:

Do you know whether the Charging Station data they use is open or is this another closed application?

The data is sourced from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), which is a govt run agency aggregating all known charging networks into one handy source.

There is a website for accessing the data here:
http://www.afdc.energy.gov/afdc/locator/stations/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

ah ok... horribly out of date then :)

Why do you say that? They update twice a month, and has chargers showing up that were just installed in my area.

I'm sure the 12 people who have both a Leaf and a Windows Phone will love it! :lol:

two years working with the data... I suggest you try it and see how you get on ;)

I have been using it, and it seems to be at least be spot on with what I get from ChargePoint, Blink and Sema. Maybe my area is kept up to date more? It's definitely showing a lot more than what the nav shows. :)

I initially thought that would be true, but I've had almost 200 downloads and definitely more than 12 active users.
