2013 Leaf : End of lease : Buyback?

Hi

I have a 2013 Leaf (S-model) on lease and it is due to end next month. The dealer made an offer for me to buy back at $5510 (includes TT&L i.e. my walk out price).

I just lost 1 battery bar i.e. have 11 bars

Mileage : 35,500miles

Residual value : $12,833.00

My origin lease deal was
S-model
$210/month with zero down
12K miles/year
3-year lease


Taking into account the $350 lease return fee and any wear & tear price that I may have to pay, this seems to be a decent deal. It will pay off in 2years with my current payments.

Any suggestions/comments?

Did I read that right? Less than $6000 for it? Yes, that's about what the dealership would pay at auction. If lucky they might resell it for $9000, so yes, that sounds like a good deal

Am I reading this right? They are offering to let you buy the Leaf for $5510 which is more than $7k off your residual? How cow that's a good deal, IF you know the limited range will work for you when taking into account continued battery degradation. I hope my dealer makes me a similar offer a year from now when my 2015 S lease comes to an end. Good luck!
