Background: 2014 Leaf S, 22k miles, bought in December.
It finally got warm enough this weekend to try out the A/C system. Ran it full blast while driving 35 with recirculator on for about 20 minutes with no cold air.
I checked voltage across the compressor and verified compressor function, then checked to see if there was any pressure on the refrigerant line.... Nothing.
I read somewhere that the refrigerant line and steel connections were defective and could be replaced free of charge, but I can't find recall information. Can someone point me in the right direction so I know what I'm talking about when I ask for free service on the A/C system? Is it a warranty thing or a service bulletin?
Also, I ran the A/C quite a bit with the defrost function this winter. Should I be concerned about potential excessive wear on the compressor?
Thanks in advance!
