Hi everybody!
I'm looking at a CPO 2016 leaf with the 30kWh battery and it's a killer price. If you can use the googles you can probably find it so I'll just leave it at that.
I've had all sorts of cars since I was 14 (and I'm only 28 now). I've had everything from a Delorean to a '64 beetle. (Currently restoring the beetle and thinking of an electric drivetrain)
But my main automotive hobby has been vintage Mercedes diesels. I have had one since I was 14. My wife currently drives a 300D turbo and I have a non turbo eurospec 300D manuals everything. My daily is a Honda Element (best car I've ever had). Anyways, I'm looking at a leaf to replace her old Mercedes. It's not the best Mercedes I've dealt with and I'm tired of playing mechanic. I can do that with my beetle and the Element is in good shape. Plus whenever a small human (baby) comes
Along soon ish (not pregnant ) it would probably be safer in the Element or leaf than a 32 year old diesel sedan.
So we are going to not be impulsive but talk to our credit union about financing for the Leaf. Think about if for a week and then do something. I'm feeling like we are going to get a leaf. We'd love a tesla but I can't swig the 55k for a CPO S.
I'm done rambling now. I'm going to go lurk and read about these cool cars.
