It's a very requested feature and yes we've all been there, searching for the unlock button! It's the main reason I disabled the automatic door lock feature, that way I don't have to fumble for the unlock button.nrvous said:Thanks for letting me know. A few of the more adventurous people around here have experimented with replacing the switch with Nissans that do light up, even others have somehow added a LED to the switch, I personally have been happy since turning off the auto lock feature

Adding an LED doesnt work as easily as i thought it would, there is a resistor (probably) missing in the PCB also. See more info here.

I noticed at the auto show that the 2018 Leaf didn't have lighted buttons still, but they did add sunvisor lights at least! I had to retrofit that from a Nissan Sentra also.
