    Software Upgrade? Feb 2012

That's nothing to do with the software update but an effect of removing the 12v battery. It resets your windows setting. The user manual should show you how to make it automatic again.

    That's a wrap...

Nice work but not as shocking as this pink wrap: http://www.leaftalk.co.uk/showthread.php/3689-Shocking-Pink-Wrap!!!?s=753724aa8fb997656231d095afaa32dc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

larger solar panel/solar roof on Leaf thread

I don't know about the efficiency of Solar PV but that's not the only way to harness the sun's energy. How about an array of Fresnel lenses creating a solar concentrator and powering a Stirling engine to charge a battery. Could there be more output than PV or is it still infeasible. Of course...

    Beep beep beep beep

You mean that rubber covered switch that resides near the door hinge or is this something else you are talking about?

    Beep beep beep beep

I never figured that one out. Maybe I should read the manual but, at a guess, isn't it trying to alert you to make sure you are taking your key with you if you are leaving? Open door = Driver most likely leaving - Warning ensures that you don't leave in a hurry whilst the key is lying on the...

Does speed sensing wiper only work on int?

The headlights stay illuminated for a set period of time, illuminating a path to your front door (i.e. home or wherever the car may be pointed) and then will turn off automatically. I've never needed to use the feature so I don't know how well it works.

Does speed sensing wiper only work on int?

Hmm..... Not as useful as I thought they would be. I wonder if they were added just to comply with US motoring legislation.

Does speed sensing wiper only work on int?

Yes but we didn't get the tyre (tire) pressure sensors so i guess it balances out in the end. ;)

    The singing Nissan Leaf

Don't worry I was only messing around with an iPhone app called Songify. I needed some speech to test it with and I thought id record the Carwings voice. The app turned the few seconds of speech into some kind of auto-tuned, weird garbled mess of a song.
