GE EVSE One day sale at Home Depot

Very good unit. UL listed and has 2-4-6-8 hour delay. Some of the very early ones (VC30BLKB) had a firmware problem, if it reared it's ugly head - Siemens replaced the whole unit under the 3 year warranty.

And you looked mahhvelous. I admire the explorers who drive their convertibles around in cold weather with the top down.

    20amp 110vac charging, anyone?

I used an OpenEVSE at 16A on a 20A circuit for a long time. It meant the difference between making it home or not after charging all day at work. I second the opinion about steering far clear of EMW.

Support a Green Grid, and Earn Money While You Sleep!

Based on their previous "performance" I highly recommend people NOT count on future payments from EMW. If you must have a JB, make sure you get your money up front. So sad they had a bad ride w PG&E. Sadder the PEV Pilot Participants had to take it in the shorts.

Before you start holding your breath waiting for payments from EMW, I suggest you look at the PEV pilot thread on myrav4ev.com where EMW reneged on the free juice box.

    Group buy for JuiceBox EVSE.

If you've decided UL approval for the highest electrical draw device in your home (used while you're sleeping) isn't important... then why not buy an Open EVSE from Vegas Brad. 1000s in use worldwide, and Brad will customize.

    NEMA 14-50 Charging

Strongly suggest you get a UL listed EVSE. (Sorry, Jesla, Sorry, eMotorWerks). They don't cost any more (probably less than an EVSE that "has had some work done") and passed SAFETY testing. moderator edit: removed "nicknames" for other EVSEs.

    Group buy for JuiceBox EVSE.

This has been the story for months. Seems like there's agreement about buying a UL listed EVSE (probably the highest draw electric device in your house) - so buy one that's UL listed, there are plenty of choices.

    Group buy for JuiceBox EVSE.

Why not a group buy for a UL listed EVSE? Why expose yourself?

Did L1 Charger Kill My Fridge?

Please be fully aware of the voltage(s) you may encounter on your electrical circuit before just applying scope probes to it. You may roast yourself, or worse - the 'scope.

    Aftermarket 12kWh add-on

Having been screwed by EMW via the PEV Pilot, I would look extra hard for signs of Photoshop on that EMW range extender "photo" . Or whether the "picture" is evidence of anything.

Plug in Charge Station with Both NEMA 14-50 and L6-30 ?

Strongly recommend you get a UL listed EVSE. This is the highest draw device in your home, and you will probably be using it while you sleep. You should sleep better knowing it was built by professionals and passed UL testing. [This rules out Junk Box, and other hacks.]

Is there a Z-wave compatible Level-2 Charger out there?

Siemens VersiChage has a disable charging input which you could also/certainly use to control when it charges your vehicle. Some of the original Clipper Creeks (large enclosure) have a remote disable. Siemens also has a 2-4-6-8 hour delay setting on the front panel. I believe there's at least a...
