A Note From A Leaf Salesman

It was both via phone and in person. I settled on the Ford, mostly because of price -- it was really that much better than any of the Leaf quotes I received. It does have a few other aspects I like better than the Leaf.

A Note From A Leaf Salesman

After going through five LA-area Nissan dealerships, I was unable to get a price that I could accept. To be fair, it would have been better if I started at the end of June. The whole process of haggling, getting dealers to match prices, etc. was annoying and outdated. While I really wanted a...

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

The last offer I had was $2,000 down/$227 month with tax.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Man, I would maim (not kill) for that deal. Congrats! I'm not finding anything comparable in the LA area after going through five dealerships. I would really prefer a Leaf with QC, but I'm finding much better prices on the Ford Focus Electric (no QC!) and Chevy Spark EV (slow level 2 and QC port...

Anybody got the Nissan's free charging card?

Curious that Los Angeles isn't among the listed cities participating in the program. The press release notes:

That's so much better than anything I was offered at five different local Nissan dealerships. Which dealer did you go through?

I've found worse in LA. I'm mulling an offer similar to yours on an SV +QC, but with 12K and no premium package.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Fourth Nissan dealership I went to and another less-than-spectacular quote on an SV + QC: $2,000 down and $306/month with tax. *sigh* I really should have focused on this in June. I'm getting better prices on the Ford Focus Electric, which would be fantastic if it had a quick-charge port.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Here are the latest quotes I received. Both are for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year. I'm not happy with either of them, so the quest continues.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

The latest offer I received is for a Leaf SL -- $2,500 down and $317 monthly with tax. Think I can do better? Admittedly, patience isn't my strong suit and I haven't been enjoying the shopping process. The dealership model feels incredibly outdated.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Been striking out in the LA area. Went to two Nissan dealerships to look for an S+QC or SV+QC. For the latter model, one sales rep quoted me $2,000 down + $280 per month (plus tax) and the other quote me $2,000 down + $374 (with tax). :(
