I've been using the over under method for a long time, but my cord is still really twisted. Is there any way to un-twist it? It's hard to even tell which direction the twist is in.
This one arrived and I tested it but it's not working. The Status says "Connecting to vehicle..." with a rotating ring, and all the data is shown as dashes. Anything I can do to troubleshoot?
I just ordered this wifi OBD adapter that has a power button.

Delivery estimate is May 27-30. I'll let you know how it works after it arrives.
It's applied to your annual liability. You would have paid $4000 for the year. You have a $5000 tax credit. That eliminates your tax liability for the year and your refund is all of the money that was withheld that year. You can roll over the remaining $1000 tax credit to the following year.
Quick chargers are very fast up to 80% and then they slow down considerably between 80-100%. If someone's waiting for the quick charger it's better to switch to a L2 charging station after 80%.
The problem with the timer override button is if someone unplugs you and plugs you back in, you won't automatically start charging again.
I love the suggestion to have designated stations where the timers are active (like home) and ignore them everywhere else.
There is a gearbox with one gear ratio that connects the electric motor to the wheels. It has oil similar to a manual transmission gearbox, but the Nissan maintenance schedule does not call for replacing it.
My dealer just strongly suggested that I replace the reduction gear oil at 24,000 miles instead of just inspecting it. I declined. They replaced the brake fluid, rotated the tires, put on the wiper blade inserts I had ordered but never installed, and did the second free battery check. I did the...
It's easy to confuse how much total tax you pay in a year with how much you owe or get back at the end of the year.
The total tax you owe for the year is calculated on Form 500. For 2012, that was line 16.
The total tax you owe is then reduced by the $5k Zero Emission Vehicle credit from...
I just tried out the new Nissan-branded DCQC at Gwinnett Place Nissan near Atlanta. It's only available during dealer hours, but it works great and the dealer staff are friendly.
I'm using AT&T and I've been having the same problem. I changed my email address in Carwings to <phonenumber>@mms.att.net and set it to use email instead of texts for my alerts. Seems to work well so far and the messages come from [email protected].
I was happy to read that the battery is not taking up any of the interior space of the car. It seems like most (all?) of the EVs that are based on existing gas cars end up missing most of their cargo room.
The EVSE upgrade comes with an L6-20 or L6-30 plug depending on whether it's a 16A or 30A unit. They sell adapters from that to many other plugs including 14-50 and 5-15 (standard 120V household outlet).
The Clipper Creek unit is great, but it's fine to upgrade the EVSE that came with the car, even if you're leasing.

Also the upgraded unit can be used on both 120V and 208/240V circuits...
