I charged my sons S on my Blink charger and it took 2 hours longer to charge from 1 bar to 12 than my 2011. It normally takes my 2011 about 4&3/4 hours for the same charge. His took 7 hours. Is the US built 3.3 slower than my Japanese built 3.3.

Apparently one can not set a starting time for charging the S model. Is there a way of getting around this?

I think Nissan would sell a lot more cars if it had more range. For some people todays range is enough. For others it appears to be too confining. Especially with so little public charging infrastructure in place.

A few months ago Mark Perry on a NPR radeo broadcast said that Nissan may do that. Will Nissan take away Fords braging rights that it`s EV charges faster than a Leaf by making this change?
