I received my A2Z CSS1 to CHAdeMO adapter and spent two days testing it out in North Central and Central Florida. It worked great with my 2020 Nissan Leaf SV Plus at five CSS1 chargers run by Electrify America, EVConnect, ChargeUp Duke Energy, EVGo and FPL Evolution. The table with specifics on location, charging company and charger manufacturer is attached. I have posted a copy of the table on a website at: http://mongreldog.net/A2Z/table.jpg

I will update the table on the website as I get more charging performance data at different locations.

Awesome, please keep us posted as you charge. I am curious if with the right charger and battery temp/SoC whether the adapter could allow more than the 80KW max seen outside of Nissan headquarters.
Thank you for your comments. I've updated the file on the website with today's data. Your suggestion is a good one. I'll see if I can address it tomorrow with a low SOC and normal Florida Summer battery temperature (85 to 91 F) at a 150 to 180 kW CSS1 charger.

I have updated the data on the website and include the newest data panel in this post. Today, I charged the battery from an 18% SOC in 90°F Florida weather at an EA SK Signet 350 kW hyperfast CCS1 charger. The maximum wattage at the start of the charging session was 57 kW. At 50% SOC, the charge level was still at 54 KW and then dropped rapidly (45 kW @ 60%; 37 kW @ 69%; 35 kW @ 70%; and 22 kW @ 75%). I stopped the charge at this point. The battery temp gauge indicated that battery temperature was in the highest normal range, but was not in the red.

I suspect that charging the battery at a higher wattage for prolonged periods would induce significant overheating and battery damage. For a comparison, I looked at the Bolt EUV charging on a 150 kW charger next to me. The wattage at 69% SOC was 34 kW, and it has a battery cooling system.

I hope this information helps.

I listed the CCS1 to CHAdeMO adapter reviewed in this thread for sale in the Classified ads section, and it has been sold. It worked great, but I got a good offer for my Leaf and sold it.
