Not sure why they have to do a study to conclude that BEV with larger size batteries will most likely be underutilized and therefore not optimal. Anybody with common sense would already know that. If they really want to do a study, they should study and report what the optimal battery range should be that would yield the most effective balance between drivers' needs and wants.

Talking about "smaller" or "larger" battery packs is meaningless without a reference. What is "larger" ? The pack of a leaf or a Tesla? Or a plug in Prius? Not a very useful article.
