For me Carwings will have to significantly improve for me to pay anything for it, but I'm in the $50/year range max anyway, no matter how good it gets.
Except for one thing: I do like the security blanket of being able to get a text message if someone unplugs me from a public charging station. It hasn't happened yet, but I expect this might be a more common scenario in the future. If most charging stations in the future are ChargePoint like, then at least CP will send me a "plug out" text message, but most of the ones I'm using now don't have this feature.
