Less chance of spreading it, less change of getting it, and a milder case if you do get infected.
I definitely agree with the first two statements, but I have doubts about the third.

WetEV proved only 1 documented case in the United States and 5 in the world confirmed as of oct 13th where a healthy person caught trumpvirus a second time and it was worse than the first time they had it.
The narrative you'll catch trumpvirus a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time and it will keep getting worse each time until you die was a narrative made up by people with an English degree.

I guess you can still hide under your bed if you want to.

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/10/20/925441975/studies-point-to-big-drop-in-covid-19-death-rates

You really should read the whole thing.

The death rate "is still higher than many infectious diseases, including the flu," Horwitz says. And those who recover can suffer complications for months or even longer. "It still has the potential to be very harmful in terms of long-term consequences for many people."

Death rates are down as hospitals are not overloaded, as well as better treatment. Let it spread freely, and hospitals get overloaded again. Like in Idaho.

Death rates are down because of mask wearing. Mask wearing is a triple play. Less chance of spreading it, less change of getting it, and a milder case if you do get infected.

Immunity to the coronavirus that causes the common cold lasts a year or two. That means that it is likely that starting next year the number of people who catch it twice is likely to skyrocket. Unless we have a vaccine and most people get the vaccine yearly.

The only places I could ever find for sure where where hospitals were for sure overload was around new your city, new Jersey and briefly around Detroit.
100,000 didn't die "because hospitals were overloaded". But they weren't so full they also filled up the hospital ship comfort and that civic center they turned into a trumpvirus care center. I think only a total of 250 people were ever sent to the 1,000 bed hospital ship.

Yes, and the sissies will choose to do it by getting vaccinated, rather than dying. Don't give in!

Me and my wife already caught it back in march. She went from being all scared of it, now she handles all the trump virus patients in her department while she is working.
At some point when you have to grow up and face it.
Now certain segments of the population should be hiding from trumpvirus until they can get their shot of trumpjuice.

What you said has nothing to do with what you quoted from us.

Any parallels between NFL games with and without fans and increased cases?

The Seahawks announced this morning that the San Francisco (the likely division showdown game) will be attendance free and a lot of people started complaining.

So it was maintain "some" restrictions and keep infections low (we'll ignore the republican dominated East where breakouts are accelerating) or not.

40 states are spiking, 6 have moderate increases and 4 are maintaining or decreasing. We are one of the moderates. We are moderate mostly due to outright defiance in several eastern areas and Insley caving to pressures here and there. He is still doing a fairly good job and the numbers show but I feel that we are on the edge and its coming to a head at the worst time of the year.

Indeed. ABC News earlier this afternoon basically said this at https://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/covid-19-surges-texas-michigan-utah-montana-73772817. They said hospitalizations are rising in 40 states with 6 hitting record highs. And, they said nearly 1000 Americans died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

At the moment, https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries says 973 COVID-19 deaths in the US yesterday and 1224 2 days ago.

And the rise continues. 3 weeks ago we were averaging a steady 35-40,000 new cases per day. Last week, it was 60,000 and today its now 70,000. I fear we shall be longing for "the good old days of April" soon.

Fauci says Trump hasn’t attended White House coronavirus task force meeting in ‘several months’
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/23/fauci-says-trump-hasnt-attended-white-house-coronavirus-task-force-meeting-in-several-months.html
Led by Vice President Mike Pence, the task force used to meet every day in the first months of the pandemic, but that’s been scaled back to virtual meetings once a week, he said.

“We certainly interact with the vice president at the task force meetings, and the vice president makes our feelings and what we talk about there known to the president,” Fauci told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd when asked about the last time Trump has attended a meeting with the nation’s leading public health experts.

Fauci’s remarks echo those of Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health who also sits on the task force. Collins told NPR in an interview published Monday that Trump has primarily received his information from Pence and coronavirus advisor Scott Atlas.

“I definitely don’t have his ear as much as Scott Atlas right now. That has been a changing situation,” Fauci told MSNBC when asked about how often he briefs the president. Atlas, who is not an infectious disease specialist, has reportedly pushed the herd immunity strategy, which Fauci has criticized, saying it would cause a lot of unnecessary deaths.

On Sunday, Twitter removed a tweet by Atlas, who had written “Masks work? NO.” The social media platform said the tweet violated the platform’s policy on coronavirus misinformation.

U.S. reports more than 71,600 new Covid cases as new infections near record highs and hospitalizations rise
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/23/covid-us-reports-more-than-71600-new-cases-as-hospitalizations-rise.html

The daily new coronavirus cases per capita chart there isn't surprising.

update:
Increase in Covid cases sets U.S. record, at over 77K in one day
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/coronavirus-case-increase-sets-new-u-s-record-rising-over-n1244490
But by midnight, 77,640 new coronavirus cases were on the books, up from the previous record of 75,723 set on July 29, the newest figures showed. And the death toll had risen by 921.

That was awesome. NZ and others have it figured out. Our $hithole country obviously doesn't.
It will get better when the grown-ups take over on Jan. 20.

Heartrending. This should be played at every poll in the country. Know who you are voting for; a heartless bastard!

+1 Can't wait for this nightmare to end. Who would have thought this country could have gotten so bad in 4 years.
We need someone who cares, to lead this country back from the brink. He made this country into the $hithole it is.
Once again, it will take a democrat running the country to restore our place as a beacon of hope in the world.

A mask likely wouldn't have prevented him from getting sick. Making others around him wear a mask or not promoting gatherings might have saved him.
