Ha! Last year I had an extension cord to plug into, so it wasn't something I was trying to explore.

I've been looking for a better workplace solution that might be palatable to the building owners, avoid L2 higher purchase/install costs and get away from the concept of dedicated parking. Looking round the parking lot at work there are several clusters of spaces around a light pole or two that would be perfect :)

'Experts' have always told me that light-pole installs are not possible due to the voltages. When I saw several transformers on light-poles at Nissan of Cool Springs, I had part numbers to research. Ironically their transformers aren't up to the task for L1 charging, they use them for xmas lights. If only they had purchased the next model up they'd have at least 6 L1 charging stations.
