Eric, thanks for the link. I can't get the picture site to work for me from my iPad or my iPhone. The Browse field is either grayed out or doesn't respond, whichever device I use. I have pics stored on both devices. Oh well, maybe later this weekend I'll try it from my laptop.
The website http://www.postimage.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will only work on devices that have a common file store. iOS devices like the iPad and iPhone do not have this capability, so one cannot upload pictures from them. Your laptop will work though.
I'm a huge Apple person and love my iPad and iPhone. I almost always have both of them with me. There are a few LEAF related apps you might be interested in:
Nissan LEAF (Official Program) [iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nissan-leaf/id407814405?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - Lets you interrogate and control your LEAF from your iPhone.
PlugShare [iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/plugshare/id421788217?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - This program aggregates charging station locations from various charge networks and user input into one place. It's a great tool to see where charging stations are and what their status is. It covers the two major charging networks in KC, ChargePoint and SemaConnect (Walgreens).
ChargePoint [iPad & iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/chargepoint/id356866743?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - This is ChargePoint's official application for accessing their network. It gives locations and statuses of stations, enables one to place reservations (I'm not aware of any reservable stations in KC yet), helps finding your vehicle, checks charging status, views your account, and let's you access a station and start a charge without a RFID card, etc.
SemaConnect [iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/semaconnect-chargepro-charging/id471861561?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - This program locates stations (All SemaConnect stations in KC are at Walgreens presently), view charging status, and access account information, etc.
Nissan LEAF [iPad] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nissan-leaf/id422890310?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - A cool program from the UK that works kind of like an online brochure for the LEAF.
Leaf Energy [iPad & iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/leaf-energy/id517173149?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - An interesting program that helps you determine, based on a variety of criteria, what your LEAF range is.
GreenCharge [iPhone] - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/greencharge/id480215136?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - I have not downloaded this app, but it was mentioned in a blog entry a while back. Supposedly, it allows you to connect with your LEAF and gives you info such as CO2 avoidance. Providing some 3rd party with access to my LEAF via CarWings is kinda creepy though, so I have no plans on installing it. It is a cool idea though.
