Monster Tajima’s 2013 Monster Sport E-RUNNER

The significance of this car can't be understated if it accomplishes what the APEV team thinks it is capable of. On June 30th, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima will attempt to break the standing Pikes Peak Hill Climb record in this EV. Not just for EVs but for ALL powertrains. How important is that? For those unfamiliar w/ the Pike's Peak Hillclimb, it is one of the oldest and most renowned motorsports competitions in the world. For an EV to challenge ICEs and to own the record would have a huge impact on the world's views of EVs.
