I'm tossing up between a Leaf, Focus EV (kinda pricey) or just waiting it out for a couple years to see what else is to come. sure would like an EREV SUV or CUV and the VW CrossBlue seems nice. http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-volkswagen-crossblue-67-seater-suv.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(bold added) worst choice of all! There will always be something better, but not if you want to spend a LOT more $$. The Leaf is like a lot of electronics now (stereos, computers, iPods).

For the choice, I already have a Chevy Volt. I'm thinking of what I can get as our 2nd plug-in for the family and there is a lot of time to plan it out. Plus, I have been continuing to use a GM Card so I have earnings that could apply towards something in the 2014-2015 timeframe. I hear that GM trademarked the Buick Electra trade name so there could be something coming out with that. I sure would like an EREV CUV or SUV eventually.

Another not so happy "cold area" Leaf owner just posted on Leaf FB. Looks like there is a big discrepancy on what can be expect in cold weather, and what owners know, or what they have been told. 100 miles range mentioned.

Disturbing as always. Perhaps they should join MNL and vote on http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=11201" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; before it closes. :)
