No deal from Power Nisssan, we will be paying full MSRP. I do not know the doc or destination charges, yet. Looks like if I had found this site sooner, not only would we have been able to save some money, but I also would have known to place my order in September rather than waiting until after we had had a chance to test drive the vehicle in Santa Monica on October 3rd.

Like many others, while excited about the electric car and glad that Nissan appears to have made a greater commitment to all-electric vehicles than other major manufacturers, I am not all that pleased with how they have handled the roll-out. Nissan's communications leave much to be desired. :?

Hey folks,

Just officially confrmed our order for a Red LEAF in the UK. We only get one trim level here, with fast charging as standard. We've opted for the optional extra solar panel.

After government incentives (£5k purchase grant) we've got to put down a total of 10% of deposit, followed by a 5 year purchase agreement of £479 per month for five years.

Much cheaper than the lease for us, because we're estimating 13k miles a year.

As far as I'm aware, I'm one of the first U.K. Customers. I pre-ordered back in the fall - with delivery set for me for late March/Early April. People ordering from scratch in the U.K. today are being told it will be Q3 before they get theirs.

I'm in the southwest, just on the Northern side of Bristol. (Oh, and I'm Nikki, by the way, host of www.transportevolved.com )

As a journalist, I've been lucky enough to get about 3 days of driving so far in the LEAF so I just let my wife drive today - she hadn't been in the car before but was completely sold. A great car!

Hope to have the car by April. Fingers crossed!

It has been a while since someone summarized the orders entered here, so I did. Take it with a grain of salt because I tallied them by hand, and I omitted entries for which not enough information was entered for me to use (e.g., my dealer is great but I won't tell you the price). For the few dealers who are giving 5% off MSRP I considered it as $1,762 off of $35,240. Most importantly, only a few orders are listed here and they're self selected. In particular, a customer who got a really bad deal might not want to post, and one who got a really good deal might be persuaded by his dealer not to post.

Overall I found 78 usable entries. The median discount from MSRP was $1,000, ranging from $0 to $2,007.
