While fiddling with my climate control to find the origin of some CAN messages, I took a picture of the climate control interface plug. I recently pulled up a pic of a 2013 S model Climate control plug. The keying looks the same.

Obviously, one would have to switch out the shiny black bezel for the matte one of the S but I don't see that as much of a drawback. I just hope it fits!

Oh wait what do we do about the buttons on the side of the nav! :?

Still an interesting thought. Eventually future owners of these used cars will ditch the weak nav.

any news on this one?
the climate control unit does it support only farenheit display or can one change it to display celcius?

What changed? What would you gain in the 2012 /2013 part swap?

are you asking me?
the big lcd screen is difficult to replace because in SL-trimlevels the lcd displays heatingmodes and temps when pushing the climatecontrol-buttons. however the version topic starter shows works seperatly from the lcd screen. Making it easier to replace the screen with something better.
