Friday March 8th, I had a licensed electrician install the same charger, Schneider EV230WS,
for $795.00. It is advertised on the website (both generation 1 & generation 2 are listed).

Old Price: $1,250.00

Price: $795.00

You save: $455.00! (36.40%)

So far it is great. My Leaf has the 6.6kw charger so I am getting max charge.

These are also available at big box home improvement stores for less than this price - the Orange one and the Blue one (stores, that is). Sometimes there are 10% off coupons for movers.

No way would I pay a premium but that is your call. Schneider has worked perfect for 1.5 years for me.
I would discount $100 below Home Depot/Lowes as you don't get the option to return it.
Otherwise let him take it back.

Got it....man you guys are like EV guardian angels...I'm looking into the clipper creek lc25 charger.... Seems to be on sale for $595....time to do some forum thread searching ;)
