Washington Metropolitan Area Deliveries - On Schedule or Not

My delivery date was "week of December 21" until a few days ago; then it switched to "pending." I assume this means a delay in delivery.

I'm curious how others in the Washington, DC metropolitan are doing when it comes to delivery date.

Mine originally said December 10 then was changed right before that to pending. I called my dealer in a panic thinking it had been delayed but she tracked down the actual car and said it was sitting in the port in Newport News. She also told me that Nissan was changing the delivery dates to pending as a "customer satisfaction initiative" :lol: , thinking that rather than have a date that people would be expecting their car they would be better off letting them know just that delivery is pending. On December 14, I noticed that the date had changed to December 14. Still no car but I would think it would come this week.

Interesting... Good idea to call the dealer. I'll try that tomorrow.

It would be nice if we got them over the holidays.....
