...estimated kWh consumption on their maps data ?
I have not yet seen this idea mentionned but I think it would be very usefull for all EV users.
Technically, I believe it is very doable. Topographic datas can translate into an average m/kWh estimate for each type of vehicle. We can even imagine taking into account the current trafic condition, even the outside temp, to compute the estimated kWh consumption.
I envision the route function showing how many kWh you're likely to use on a given itinary and/or a map showing how far you can go akin to what carwings does except it would take into account declines, trafic conditions, outside temp. etc.
