It would sure be nice if some of the improved features, such as blind spot intervention, could be added as an update for current Leafs. The article states that it doesn't require any new hardware.

I don't actually expect this to happen, but it would be great to see Nissan supporting their existing vehicles.

So the second video showed a shot of the dash. Is that the same as the current model year???

Generally the Dashboard will be the same, the MMI will sport a larger display on some trims, and the UI of the display will be enhanced. As soon as I get the media kit, which should be this Friday, I will post it.

So from what build date on would these changes be effective???...in your opinion.

I don't think the build date is as important as the Model Year. The cars with the changes will be listed as a MY2020.

Kinda cool. We are expecting arrival of a 2020 Eplus SL in middle March. Hoping it has all the new updates.

Doug how many does your plus have in the front. My 2016 SV has one.
