May be too expensive for home charging, but what a great way to charge at a restaurant/retail establishment, or even a gas station...

I don't see this catching on anytime soon. It's going to be expensive, and require a complex and bulky mechanism on the car. (not to mention it's lossy!)

Also: Over time as battery tech improves and we get more capacity, this will matter less.
