What's interesting is that the discount on the Plus is less than the discount on the 40 Leaf. It makes me believe that Nissan makes more money on the small battery Leaf (commodity battery size now). The available stock of 2019 Leafs is also weighted well towards the 40kWh leaf then the Leaf Plus. My guess is that demand is also slanted that way, as for the value EV buyer, the entry Leaf with Federal and State discounts is very attractive, often getting into a car for near or under 20K and with a usable 150 mile range.
